David Enterline Speaks at EB-5 Seminar in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in November 2022

David Enterline was again invited by American Venture Solutions Regional Center (AVS) to speak at its latest seminar in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on November 20, 2022.

Mr. Enterline discussed the provisions of EB-5 law as a result of the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 that was passed in March 2022 and answered investor questions about the source of funds that they can use to make the investment.

AVS is raising capital from foreign investors who will immigrate to the United States via the EB-5 investor visa category.  AVS will lend the capital to River Oak EB-5 LP which will use the capital to develop a single family rental home community in Indiantown, Florida.  The project will be developed by the Lindemann Group, a multifamily investment group with an extensive portfolio of rental communities throughout the United States.

The seminar was attended by the regional center principal, Jose E. Latour and Lindemann Group’s Francis Jud Laird.  What is special about this project is that there is no bank loan. The Lindemann Group is contributing its equity capital from its own portfolio and will use capital from EB-5 investors to assist in the construction of the project.

Lindemann Group has all of the capital to complete the project. It is borrowing capital from EB-5 investors so that they can obtain U.S. lawful permanent resident status and “green cards”.

“Class A or B (TB) )…requires attn of USPHS at POE ” Annotation On Your U.S. Immigrant Visa

Please note that your immigrant visa has an annotation “Class A or B (TB)…requires attn of USPHS at POE.” This notation refers to a finding related to tuberculosis (“TB”), a communicable disease of public health significance. During the required medical examination, the panel physician assessed whether you may have Class A or Class B tuberculosis.  Class A TB applies if you have active, infectious tuberculosis. If so, you are generally inadmissible to the United States until you have completed treatment and no longer pose a public health risk.  Class B TB applies if you have a history of tuberculosis, evidence of latent TB infection, or findings suggestive of non-infectious TB that require further evaluation or follow-up. USCIS Now Requires Certain Adjustment Of Status Applicants To Submit Medical Examination With Their Form I-485 Application

Effectively immediately, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) will require certain applicants filing a Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status to submit a Form I-693, Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record with their Form I-485 Application. Applicants who are adjusting status within the United States are generally required to undergo a medical examination by a civil surgeon to show that they do not have any health conditions which would render them ineligible to immigrate.
