David Enterline and Ryan Barshop Present to Potential EB-5 Immigrant Investors in Manila Philippines

David Enterline and Ryan Barshop recently presented at an EB-5 seminar with AIMS Relocation and Immigration Specialist at the company’s Manila, Philippines office. AIMS, a Singapore-headquartered company is dedicated to supporting individuals and companies for all of their migration and relocation needs. Founded in Singapore in November 2006, AIMS currently has 14 offices across Asia- Pacific with the Manila office as its most recent.

Mr. Enterline and Mr. Barshop’s presentation was organized for Filipino individuals interested in applying for an EB-5 immigrant investor visa.  Applicants who submit their petitions prior to November 21 require a minimum investment of US$500,000 whereas applicants who file after November 21 will require a minimum investment of US$900,000. The seminar was well received by the attendees who expressed strong interest in immigrating to the United States under the EB-5 immigrant investor program.

Supreme Court Finds Trump’s Executive Order Restricting Birthright Citizenship Unconstitutional 

The United States Supreme Court has formally struck down President Donald Trump’s Executive Order (“EO”) 14160 restricting birthright citizenship. By a 6-3 vote, the Court held that the long-settled understanding of the 14th Amendment, which was adopted after the American Civil War, holds that anyone born on American soil is a natural U.S. citizen with very few exceptions.
