Enterline and Partners Immigration Attorneys Successfully Expedite Petition for a Spouse Filed Directly at the U.S. Consulate in Under One Month

Enterline and Partners successfully expedited an I-130 Petition for the spouse of a U.S. citizen in Ho Chi Minh City by directly filing the petition at the U.S. Consulate. The couple was married in Vietnam and had originally filed an I-130 Petition for Alien Relative through the USCIS lockbox. Because of the U.S. citizen’s urgent family medical issues requiring immediate relocation back to the United States, our U.S. immigration attorneys were able to arrange to file the petition directly with the U.S. Consulate.

The entire process from filing the request to visa issuance took less than one month as opposed to 12-18 months based on the current USCIS posted processing times.

Incoming Trump Administration Looks to Deport Migrants to Third-Party Countries

The incoming Trump administration is preparing a list of countries to which it may deport migrants if their home countries refuse to accept them, according to sources. These countries include Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, Panama and Grenada. If implemented, it could result in thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of migrants being displaced in countries where they do not know anybody, do not speak the language nor have any connection to the culture.
