Enterline and Partners Consulting Celebrates America’s 250th Birthday at AmCham’s Independence Day Celebration in Ho Chi Minh City

Enterline and Partners was proud to be a sponsor of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham) 2026 Independence Day Celebration & Community Picnic, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States.

Held on July 4, 2026, at The American School in Ho Chi Minh City, this year’s celebration brought together members of the American business community, government representatives, international businesses, and families to celebrate one of America’s most significant milestones.

The event featured an afternoon and evening of entertainment, networking, and family activities, including live music by Soul Kinsmen, classic American barbecue, burgers and hot dogs, many drinks, children’s activities, and an exciting prize drawing with more than 100 giveaways, including round-trip airline tickets to the United States, luxury resort stays, dining experiences, and shopping vouchers.

The event culminated with the presentation of a birthday cake, marching band and a marine honor guard presenting the U.S. flag, and of course a visit by “Uncle Sam”.

As a proud event sponsor, Enterline and Partners was honored to support this important annual tradition and the work of AmCham in strengthening business and cultural ties between the United States and Vietnam.

Partners David Enterline and Ryan Barshop, together with members of the Enterline and Partners team and their families, enjoyed celebrating Independence Day with friends, clients, and colleagues from across the international business community.

The celebration also provided an excellent opportunity to welcome several of our valued business cooperation partners who traveled from the Philippines and Taiwan to join us for the festivities. Their participation reflects the strong regional relationships that Enterline and Partners has developed throughout Asia and our commitment to providing high-quality U.S. immigration legal services to clients across the region.

Events such as the AmCham Independence Day Celebration highlight the importance of international collaboration and the close economic and cultural ties between the United States and Vietnam. As a U.S. immigration law firm serving businesses, investors, families, and professionals throughout the region, Enterline and Partners values opportunities to strengthen these relationships while supporting organizations that promote international commerce and cooperation.

We extend our sincere appreciation to AmCham Vietnam, the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this year’s celebration such a memorable success. We are proud to have been part of this historic celebration marking 250 years of American independence, and we look forward to continuing our support of the U.S. business community in Vietnam for many years to come.

What Are the Financial Requirements to Sponsor a Spouse from Vietnam or the Philippines?

When you sponsor your husband or wife for a U.S. immigrant visa, the government wants to see that there will be adequate financial support once your spouse becomes a lawful permanent resident (“Green Card Holder.”). For most marriage-based cases, this requires completing a Form I-864, Affidavit of Support (“Form I-864”) and showing that you meet the minimum income requirement that applies to your situation. Unfortunately, the rules can become more complicated when you live in Vietnam or the Philippines, earn income abroad, recently returned to the United States or cannot show that you have earned enough income on your tax transcripts.
